Z… the C. Hold a key to bow.
Touch a dot on the strings to play it, and keep your finger down to keep bowing. Slide along a string to

How to play
The cello has four strings: A (the highest), D, G and C (the lowest). On the keyboard each row of keys is
one of them, top to bottom: 1–= A, Q–] D, A–'
G, Z–/ C.
The first key in a row is the open string. Each key to its right is your finger one step further up the
string, in the key you've picked.
Hold a key to keep bowing. Hold Shift to play a note a half step higher.
Play a new note before letting go of the last and the bow slurs into it, sliding if it's on the same string.
Two keys on different strings play together.
Space swaps between bowing and plucking. ↑ and ↓ bow louder and softer.
With a mouse or a finger, touch a dot to play it, or touch the strings between the fingerboard and the
bridge to play them open. Slide along a string to glide between notes.
In a song, Enter listens to it and Esc closes it.
The sounds are recordings of a real cello from the University of Iowa Electronic Music Studios.
